Growth

For software businesses growth is an imperative. More revenue equals more money to spend on software development which in turn means innovating faster than your competitors. Failure to stay competitive in innovation will lead, eventually, to losing customers.

Software businesses tend to initially address a market niche. Once a certain market share of that niche has been achieved future growth will need expansion beyond that niche. Your niche may be defined as a type of customer or a geography (or both).

Growing beyond your niche is challenging but rewarding. You have a larger target market to address and so have a higher revenue growth potential. And for those who have a stake in the ownership of the business: businesses that have internationalized have a higher market value than those that have not.

The content of these posts aims to give you hints and tips on how to grow your business.
